Students then conduct qualitative tests for the major nutrients in any meal. A scoring chart allows them to determine the “food value” of a meal most of them have surely tried. These tests do not require any laboratory heat source.They can easily be preformed in a wide variety of venues. The kit contains materials for two classes of twenty-four students working in pairs.
