An easy, graphic way to visualize the process of mitosis. Learn about chromosome function and structure by constructing models using colored pop beads. Students will then use these "chromosomes" to model each stage of mitosis. In the process they’ll gain a better understanding of what happens during cell division. Additionally, they’ll learn to distinguish between plant and animal mitosis.
